At Lake City Boys Hostel, we believe that education is not only about academic success but also about developing compassion, responsibility, and the spirit of serving society. During times of national hardship, standing together becomes our greatest strength.

With this belief, Lake City Boys Hostel proudly contributed to the Prime Minister (PM) Disaster Relief Fund to support the victims affected by the devastating floods in Rasuwa District, Nepal.

This humanitarian initiative was made possible through the generous efforts of our hostel students. Our students Devendra Gaha, Kamal Singjali, Sumit, Roshan Malla, along with other members of the hostel family, voluntarily collected and donated NPR 4,100 towards the relief fund. We are equally grateful to several other students who chose to contribute individually through their own preferred channels. Every contribution—big or small—reflects the kindness, unity, and social responsibility of our students.

We extend our heartfelt prayers to all the families affected by the Rasuwa floods and sincerely hope for their safety, recovery, and rebuilding in the days ahead.

Lake City Boys Hostel recently organized a memorable picnic program in the year 2082 BS at Dhampus, one of the most beautiful and peaceful destinations near Pokhara. Known for its breathtaking mountain views and serene environment, Dhampus is a popular spot for nature lovers and trekkers. Surrounded by lush green hills and offering stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna mountain range, it provides a perfect escape from the busy city life.

The picnic was a refreshing experience for all residents, giving them an opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy nature together. The cool breeze, scenic landscapes, and peaceful atmosphere of Dhampus created a perfect setting for fun activities, group games, and delicious meals. Residents spent quality time capturing memories, sharing laughter, and strengthening friendships.

Apart from the enjoyment, the trip also allowed everyone to explore the natural beauty and cultural charm of Dhampus, which is known for its traditional villages and warm hospitality. Such events reflect Lake City Boys Hostel’s commitment to creating a lively and engaging community for its residents. The picnic at Dhampus was not just a day out, but a truly memorable experience filled with joy, bonding, and unforgettable moments.

Lake City Boys Hostel began its journey in 2019 with a simple vision—to provide a comfortable, affordable, and student-friendly living space in the heart of the city. From the very beginning, we focused on creating a safe and supportive environment for both students and working individuals. The response during our first phase was encouraging, and we were proud to serve our residents with quality facilities and care.

However, like many businesses around the world, we faced an unexpected challenge during the global pandemic. Due to the impact of COVID-19, we had to temporarily close our hostel operations from 2020 to 2022. This decision was made with the safety and well-being of our residents as our top priority, as travel restrictions, health concerns, and lockdown measures made normal operations difficult.

After a long pause, we were delighted to reopen our doors in mid-2022, following the end of the second lockdown period. With renewed energy and improved services, we restarted Lake City Boys Hostel to continue serving our community. Since then, we have been consistently providing a better and more comfortable living experience for our residents.

Today, we are proud to say that Lake City Boys Hostel is stronger than ever, continuing our journey with dedication, trust, and a commitment to excellence.
